Brass Over Bridges will undertake a large-scale, multidisciplinary work by SFCM faculty Stefan Cwik, SF Civic Orchestra and Mexican artist Eduardo Rodriguez Calzado. Free to the public, this performance will take place at Herbst Theater on June 11, 2023 at 3pm.

Alongside the performance will be projections of animated artwork by Mexican painter, Eduardo Rodriguez Calzado. Cwik chose Calzado’s paintings to inspire his composition, and has done so for past works, inspired by their surreal, fantastic nature and their ability to capture light. Of his artwork, Calzado says,  “In most of my paintings I represent the human form or some sort of human element and our connection to another plane of consciousness.”

This performance is going to be EPIC! Don’t miss it!
